SWTOR Jedi Sage

 In Star Wars: The Old Republic, Jedi Sage is one of the Advanced Classes of the Jedi Consular Class. The Jedi Sage focuses more on the deep knowledge of the force, rather then combat skills.
 The role of the Jedi Sage revolves around healing their allies and buffing and cleansing them. The Jedi Sage also has strong range abilities to attack their enemies using the power of the Force. The alternate Jedi Consular class in the Jedi Shadow.

 The SWTOR Jedi Sage has two exclusive trees, that is the Seer tree and Telekinetics tree. 

 SWTOR Jedi Sage Telekinesis Tree 

This Jedi Consular Tree is basically a ranged DPS class. This is basically the tree you go when you want to purely DPS. What this tree does is, that it boosts the already present force abilities of the SWTOR Jedi Sage.

SWTOR Jedi Sage Seer Tree

 This Jedi Consular Tree is a support tree. It mainly focuses on healing and protecting themselves and their allies. 

SWTOR Jedi Sage Skills

1. Force Studies (Passive) - Versed in the Force, your maximum Force is increased by 400. In addition, your Presence increases at the rate at which your Force regenerates.

” As the Jedi Sage is a support class, Force Studies increases your resource pool thus allowing you to last longer in battles, supporting your allies”

2. Force Reach (Passive) - Increases the range of Project and Telekinetic Throw by 15m.

” Increasing your range, keeping you away from the center of the battle”

3. Disturbance (Active) –  Fires a blast of telekinetic energy at the target dealing moderate kinetic damage.

” Basic ranged attack”

4. Rejuvenate (Active) - Heal the target for a moderate amount over 12s.

” Basic healing ability of the Jedi Sage. A standard Heal over Time ability”

5. Force Armor (Active) - Surrounds the caster in a Force shield that lasts 30s and absorbs a high amount of damage. Affected targets become Force-imbalanced and cannot benefit from Force Armor again for 20s

” In MMO terms this is called a bubble. A shield which absorbs a finite amount of damage before you become vulnerable. This is a great way to get out of tricky situations. In PvP situations, the healer is always targeted. This spell will be very helpful in such sticky situations “

6. Weaken Mind (Active) - Weakens the target’s mind, dealing high internal damage over 15s.

” A great damage over time ability. These are cast once and forget. You can cast this on an enemy and then use other abilities to damage. While the damage over time ability will slowly cause a finite amount of damage over time.

7. Restoration (Active) - Cleanses a friendly target of up to 2 hostile mental or Force effects.

” A cleanse spell. This ability is of great use in PvP situations, where upto two debuffs can cleared of an allied target. “

9. Deliverance (Active) - Heals a friendly target for a high amount of health.

” This is an instant heal, whenever you or an allied target is taking heavy damage, this spell can be used. In combination with Rejuvinate, this ability can be used to keep up tanks”

10. Rescue (Active) - Greatly lowers the target’s threat and if the target is a party member, pulls the target to your location.

” A PvE ability, which helps the target to DPS even though he or she is at high threat.”

11. Force Push (Active) - Pushes the target back several meters with the Force and deals moderate kinetic damage. Standard and weak enemies are additionally knocked prone for 3s.

” Can be used in PvP and in PvE situations, whenever an enemy is too near to you, you can use this to gain some distance in between you and the enemy”

12. Revitalize (Active) - Revives an incapacitated ally. This ability is usable while in combat.

” This is an in combat resurrection spell. This can be prove to very helpful as you can resurrect an allied member in PvE situations” 

13. Resilience (Active) - Increases your chance to resist Force and Tech attacks by 100% for 4s.

” Makes you immune to Force and Tech attacks for 4 seconds.  Use this in tricky PvP situations when you know the enemy is gonna attack you, so that you won’t pull a life saving heal on your allied target”

14. Force Quake (Active) - Channel the Force into the ground at the target location, causing it to quake and tremble. All enemies within 8m of the target location are struck for moderate kinetic damage every second for 6s. Each second, the Force Quake has a 33% chance to knock its targets down. No single target can be knocked down more than once from a single Force Quake.

” A great AoE spell, causing moderate amounts of damage and also knocking back down enemies “


SWTOR Jedi Sage PvP Views

As a Healer and Support class the Jedi Sage, will be of great importance in PvP. Cleansing harmful effects. The Sage also has some good defensive abilities so that he or she can sustain in PvP situations.
